How to get started

1 Open the Side Panel

Click the Tweetel extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. This will open the side panel on the right side of your screen. You can leave this open while you browse.

2 Navigate to your Network

Go to X.com and navigate to your profile. Click on either your Following list or your Followers list.
URL example: x.com/yourhandle/following

3 Start Scanning

Once on the correct page, the Tweetel side panel indicator will turn Green ("Ready"). Click the blue Scan button.

Tweetel will automatically begin scrolling down the page. Because X is designed to prevent robotic behavior, Tweetel mimics a human: it takes random pauses, occasionally scrolls up to shake the feed, and waits for profiles to load.

Note: Do not close the tab or navigate away while the scan is running.

4 Find Mutuals

To find your mutuals, simply run a scan on your Following page, and then run a second scan on your Followers page. Tweetel will automatically cross-reference them and tag overlapping accounts as Mutuals.

5 Search and Filter

Once the scan is complete (or stopped manually), you can use the tabs in the side panel to filter by All, Following, Followers, or Mutuals. Use the search bar to instantly find accounts by their handle, name, or keywords in their bio.

Privacy Promise

Your data belongs to you. Tweetel operates entirely inside your browser. No profile data, no handles, and no connection graphs are ever sent to any external server.
